Thanks for your reply,

but that is not the problem:
I know what must be written into the related files, to get the network
working.
What I want to understand is, why the redhad configuration tools do create
configuration files, which prevent the correct behavior of application
programs.
Whenever something like this happens, we get a suppert event, and need a
debug session with 'vi' to correct the files, because the suspicious
line is never
displayed in in the graphical tools.

My intention to ask in this list was, if anybody can tell why, or
should I open a
bug report on bugzilla?
