Ok,
Have you install the rhn-certs-tools package ?
NB : In the case of the "rhn_check" ou "up2date" command do not work properly. You should have a look at the up2date configuration file - /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date -. Something in it is certainly wrong.

Yes, I have. Other steps that I've taken w/r/t the docs I've cited go as
far as the inst of the rhncfg* and rhns-certs-tools packages via
rhn_check.
