[rhn-users] Problems with RedHat EL WS 3 latest Mozilla upgrade?

Today I installed the latest RedHat Mozilla upgrade after
receiving RedHat security advisory RHSA-2005:384-11.

After downloading and installing mozilla-1.7.7-1.1.3.4
via up2date, I launched mozilla and discovered that
my existing profiles had been corrupted (various option
settings were missing that had previously been set, for
example) and things like copy and paste using the mouse
don't work, and when I change to another profile with
Mozilla up, it crashes.

I'm running (according to /etc/redhat-release):

Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS release 3 (Taroon Update 4)

and I'm using the latest RedHat version of the KDE RPMs
(instead of Gnome) as my GUI.

Has anyone else experienced these or similar problems with
this security update after applying it to their systems?

Seems like it wasn't well tested (or somebody's trying to
convince us to switch to Firefox).
