By I have try the two commands below that you have suggest it works almost
fine ... I said almost because sometime backup terminate with an errors but
probably could be the the tape.
I have purchase some tape and I try to check the olds.

This made me think: there is also /dev/nst0 which points to the same device:
/dev/st0 does an automatic rewind after each tape action, /dev/nst0 does no
such rewind. In most cases I recall I use /dev/nst0, with manual `mt
/dev/st0 offline` to unload the tape.
