[rhn-users] Apache hang up

Hello,

I have RedHat ES version 3.0 update 3.0 , and I make up2date

I have Apache 2.0.46

Sometimes, it hangs up, when i type service httpd status

I found big number of instances of apache running
when i restart the service it works fine

this error is very random, it may stay in good condition for two days/week,
and sometimes it hangs twice aday

Please advice, any of you saw this issue before

your support is highly appreciate
