Look at /etc/DIR_COLORS & /etc/DIR_COLORS.xterm

i do not want to get all color character on my
terminal , when i telnet to my RHES  system. 

 i want to apply this on system level, so any user 
telnet to system from putty or some command like this
will not get the color character.

I remember to this for a particular user from profile,
but not for all. 

please help.
