Hi!

I just upgraded my RHEL 4 system with the latest updates, but now my
monitor can no longer do 1600x1200, it is now limited to 1280x1024.

X.org warns that:

*(WW) (1600x1200,Monitor0) mode clock 162MHz exceeds DDC maximum 160MHz
(WW) I810(0): Bad V_BIOS checksum
(WW) I810(0): Extended BIOS function 0x5f05 not supported.
(WW) I810(0): Extended BIOS function 0x5f28 not supported.

The graphics card is an Intel i915GL on a Dell optiplex GX280, with a
configured Dell 2001FP (Digital) monitor.

I guess the bug must be in the "i810" driver, but has anyone seen these
before? Any ideas how to solve it? Any possibilities to roll back to the
previous X.org packages, maybe?

Thanks!

/Josep

System info:
# uname -r
2.6.9-22.ELsmp

x.org version is: xorg-x11-6.8.2-1.EL.13.20
