[rhn-users] winbind problem

I am running RHEL WS 4, kernel 2.6.9-22.ELsmp.

I have a problem with winbindd.

I can manually start it without a problem,
but if I type

service winbind restart

it fails with the following errors in /var/log/samba/winbindd.log


[2005/10/12 13:08:32, 0] passdb/secrets.c:secrets_init(64)
  Failed to open /etc/samba/secrets.tdb
[2005/10/12 13:08:32, 0] nsswitch/winbindd.c:main(881)
  Could not initialize domain trust account secrets. Giving up

Any clues as to why this fails?
