[rhn-users] SYSTEM HANGS WHILE SHUTTING DOWN(ERROR MSG:acpi_power_off called)

hello friends,
I need help from  u all.I am presently working on AMD64 with FC3.when ever i 
shut down my PC ,it givs an
error msg "acpi_power_off called" and after this msg my system stop 
responding.Instead of shutting down automatically ,i need to press the power 
button for 5 sec to turn it off.
msg is like:
Power down
acpi_power_off called

wating for reply
thakns in advance!!!
