[rhn-users] SYSTEM HANGSWHILESHUTTINGDOWN(ERRORMSG:acpi_power_off called)

I have also tried "acpi=ht" in grub.conf,but it is also giving the same
problem.After adding "acpi=off"
or "acpi=ht",I am not able to shut down my system,bcoz my system hangs after
booting up and i m not able to type any thing , not even "poweroff".
Help me out
