The "U" stands for update:
You need to download the latest (Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES 4 Update 2) ISO
images form the RHN.

Subject: [rhn-users] SunFire X4100 installation

I am trying to install RedHat 4 ES on a new SunFire X4100 but the
installation tells me that there is no hard disk present.

I check the error out and it turns out that the version I have of RedHat
(Sun Microsystems says it is called "U1") and I would need the "U2"
version for it has the LSI scsi drivers in it.

What does the "U1" and "U2" mean and how do I upgrade my installation CD's.

Thanks!
