I've just installed rhel as 2.1 on an xseries 366 server which has 4 supposably dual-core xeon cpu's. When I boot with the 2.4.9-e57smp kernel all I see is 4 cpu's rather than 8. So I'm wondering if the 2.4.9 kernel which comes with rhel as 2.1 supports dual core systems and if so, why is it not showing 4 cores? Eric Kinolik spam at narcopia.com
