Well I would try an interactive network install using your
installation tree. If that works we can rule out anything on that
side. One other possible thing I can think of that sometimes gets
munged on installation trees is having the wrong .discinfo file in the
root of the tree. I believe that needs to be the .discinfo from CD #1.
