They also have "megamon" for MegaRaid cards.  For Dell hardware, this is a
fairly good place to start:

For the megamon stuff specifically, look for the "Mangement Utility"
applications.

There is also an 'afaapps' package for non-megaraid arrays.

Both are scriptable to varying extents, and neither require SNMP (although you
can use use SNMP if you want).
