[rhn-users] Creating a filesystem > 1TB on SAN with RAID 5

Hello,

We have a SAN set up with hardware RAID 5 with a total
volume size of 1.5TB as reported by
"/proc/partitions".  When we try to create an ext3
filesystem over 1TB we get a bunch of errors in the
messages file.  Creating 1TB or less is OK.  The Linux
kernel is 2.4. 

Has anyone been successful in creating a filesystem >
1TB, specifically with RAID 5?

Is there a specific patch for the 2.4 kernel that may
be needed, perhaps?
