[rhn-users] cron path failure

Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant Update 3)

grep PATH /etc/crontab
PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin

Then root gets an email after a cron job runs with this line:

  X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/usr/bin:/bin>

so the job fails because some of the binaries it needs to run as part of
the task are in /usr/sbin.

WTF?

I was using Free Open Source Software (FOSS) in 1969, but we did not call it
that at the time. We called it "software".
