Hi,

Ensure that the portmaper daemon block by IPTABLES ( $iptables - L ) ,
if so flush off ( iptables -F) . Then check the chkconfig status (
chkconfig --list ) . If that's off .. Do on ( chkconfig portmap on) . 

Then try to mount .. 

Note : do check the same thing for NFS deamon also.

iam getting the below error in two systems all the systems are identicle
with the same config... 




mount: RPC: Unable to receive; errno = Connection refused



bash-3.00$ uname -a
Linux test  2.6.12-1.1381_FC3 #1 Fri Oct 21 03:46:55 EDT 2005 i686 i686
i386 GNU/Linux
