Hello,
In my case I do the following:
1. I register the license with the following command.
rhn_register
2. I execute yum with the following form:
Yum update --exclude=package
The other way that I do is installing only the package that I have trouble and later I do an update.

Asunto: [rhn-users] Up2date error
Hi.
I am having a trouble when tried to update my RH:
"There was a fatal RPM install error. The message was:
There was a rpm unpack error installing the package: kernel-smp-2.6.9-78.0.22.EL"
I've already cleaned the /var/spool/up2date directory.
What can I do to solve this?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the bad english.
Sincerely
Walmiro Muzzi
