I progressed to an amstrad 6128, thousands and thousands of data
strings.... yeah then I descovered a bug in the basic type thing, and a
line would claim to be invalid, you'd hit copy, and in effect reenter
the line, and it would shut up..

TRS80 - A$ and B$ - that's your lot for strings. Hard to write
adventure games. I think MS Word is written in TRS80 basic.<br>
