<html> <body> Your right, I should have provided more information. :) I have installing RHEL 4 AS (64-bit version) on 6 ML370 Servers (Dual XEON 3.4GHz machines with 1GB RAM and 78GB HD). I have installed HP's Insight Management software (I believe they call it PSPs). The rest of the system is a default installation of RHEL. I started to see the system time to run fast on one server so I investigated to find that when I run the hwclock command it shows the correct time, but when I run the date command it seems to be off by several minutes. I reset the system time but doing a hwclock -s and then waiting about a minute and ran hwclock && date to find that the system time was about 10 seconds faster than the hw clock. I then followed up on the rest of the servers and found that they all had the same problem. I haven't set the system to a ntp server due to they are not connected to the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
