It looks like DTS 8 was added to the SCLO repositories on 1/23. Now to just wait for the follow-up toolkit’s. Also, There was a patch issued for DTS 7 to fix an ICE issue which appears to have reached the CentOS repositories on the 29th.Cheers,Mike---- On Mon, 31 Dec 2018 16:00:32 -0500 Michael Rochefort<mike at michaelrochefort.com> wrote ----Similar question here. I've never measured how long it usually takes to make the SCL rebuilds available to CentOS users, so I'm not sure if this long is to be expected as it came out in early/mid November.I sent in a question to the mailing list a few days ago, but I messed up and did it before registering so it's stuck in a "waiting for approval" queue. It's not about the devtoolset-8 specifically, rather about the other new toolsets[0], but they do depend on some of the devtoolset-8's packages and will be developed at a different rate[1]. Clang/LLVM-6.0 specifically depends on DTS 8, but Rust-1.29 can depend on DTS 8 if installed in full due to depending on Clang/LLVM-6.0 libs. Not trying to derail this thread, just noting the relation.[0] https://developers.redhat.com/blog/2018/11/13/clang-llvm-6-0-go-1-10-and-rust-1-and are no longer packaged as subset groups[1]29-now-ga-for-rhel/[1] https://developers.redhat.com/blog/2018/11/20/support-lifecycle-for-clang-llvm-go-and-rust/----------Cheers,Mike---- On Mon, 31 Dec 2018 05:03:10 -0500 Thomas Sondergaard <thomas at sondergaard.cc> wrote ----Hi,Are there any plans for releasing devtoolset-8 for CentOS 7? I am having problems building Qt 5.12.0 with gcc from devtoolset-7.1 as I get an ICE when it builds chromium for QtWebEngine.Cheers,Thomas_______________________________________________SCLorg mailing list SCLorg at redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/sclorg _______________________________________________ SCLorg mailing list SCLorg at redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/sclorg
