It is end if life. CentOS removes EOL content for each minor release. You can find it on the archive if you still need it. The current Centos 7.7 seems to work fine for us but as Centos 8 is just out, I thought I'd investigate it as we'd gain extra "life" out of moving to Centos 8 instead of 7. However, after installing Centos 8 and I noticed that the centos-release-scl package isn't available. We need to install devtoolset-6. $ sudo yum update Last metadata expiration check: 0:00:15 ago on Wed 25 Sep 2019 08:17:40 EDT. Dependencies resolved. Nothing to do. Complete! $ sudo yum install centos-release-scl Last metadata expiration check: 0:00:26 ago on Wed 25 Sep 2019 08:17:40 EDT. No match for argument: centos-release-scl Error: Unable to find a match $ I know Centos 8 is hot off the press so I just wanted to ask when the SCL will be available for Centos 8. I have no knowledge about devtoolset content specifically, so adding Tom and Marek, who take care of devtoolset, to CC. Hopefully they can provide more information for you. I have no idea, but I'll note that DTS 6 is unsupported; the latest supported DTS is DTS 8.1. > On 9/25/19 2:23 PM, Lees, Mark wrote: > > Hi, > > I'm moving our development from Fedora to Centos.
