Hi Jason,

You may want to look in /etc/rhn/rhn.conf  and /etc/rhn/defaults/*  to 
make sure none of the entires are still pointing to /var/satellite.  If 
that doesn't work, a symlink should work fine.  I have seen customers 
user that in the past.
