I just start using mrepo and its working great so far. The documentation that comes with mrepo is very good, there's examples for RHEL. Once you have it setup, just set your channel to repo sync against your mrepo repository. I believe the only downside to this is you need double the diskspace. 

I personally would like to see everyone contribute what they are doing (any scripts, methodology) to get content into spacewalk, packages and errata, by populating the wiki. Right now the wiki is very slim.
