Ok... for what distro are you trying to add errata?  If RHEL and you
have an account with proper entitlements at RHN, then there are ways of
using the API to pull errata from RHN and import them into your
channels.  If CentOS or Fedora, I believe I have seen scripts floating
around that scrape various mailing lists for update annoucements from
which you could create errata.
