Perhaps... but considering the seemingly trivial amount of work involved
in updating the java package with this rather small update (since I was
able to do it manually quite easily)... vs the amount of people that
could be affected by this bug that won't/can't be early 0.7 adopters...
I'd vote for a backporting... 

But... I'm not all that concerned either way...
