Devan,

Thank you for your help.

I downloaded the rpm from http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=1492422

Not the debug info.

But c2s failed to start up because of this

Jul 23 18:36:18 crp-spwk-chi-02 jabberd/c2s[21011]: starting up
Jul 23 18:36:18 crp-spwk-chi-02 jabberd/c2s[21011]: process id is 21011, written to /var/lib/jabberd/pid/c2s.pid
Jul 23 18:36:18 crp-spwk-chi-02 jabberd/c2s[21011]: modules search path: /usr/lib/jabberd
Jul 23 18:36:18 crp-spwk-chi-02 jabberd/c2s[21011]: loading 'db' authreg module
Jul 23 18:36:18 crp-spwk-chi-02 jabberd/c2s[21011]: failed loading authreg module 'db' (/usr/lib/jabberd/authreg_db.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)

The authreg_db.so module is in /usr/lib64/jabberd/authreg_db.so

I added /usr/lib64/jabberd to ld.so.conf.d/jabberd.conf and ran ldconfig -v but it still couldn't find authreg_db.so

Perhaps I'm missing something?

Thank you for your help thus far. Should I downgrade back to 2.2.5 ?

[root at crp-spwk-chi-02 jabberd]# rpm -qa | grep jabberd
jabberd-selinux-1.4.0-6.el5
jabberd-2.2.8-2.el5

Is there any more output I can provide? Would you like to see the logs for s2s c2s sm and router?

Thanks

Hi Anoop,

I'm attaching my main jabberd configuration files for comparison. I now
have osad working on Centos 5.3 using a newly built jabberd package you
can get here:

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=1492414

Could you give this package a try, take a look and make sure your
configs matchup, and the spacewalk certificates were generated in the
locations referenced in those config files. I'd be curious to hear how
you make out.

Cheers,

Devan
