[Spacewalk-list] Variables/Macros in Configuration Files?

Is there a way, in a configuration file, to use macros or variables? Case in point - we have several apache httpd servers using virtual hosts on specific addresses. So a vhost file would look something like this when stored in Spacewalk:

<VirtualHost %ipaddr%:80>
                Virtual host definition...
</VirtualHost>

Or, for example, we have our servers pointing at their default gateway for ntp, so something like:

server %gateway%

or something similar.

Anyone have any ideas?
