Could you provide more details, error messages maybe? How does it fail?

i see that during the pxe boot the system is getting ip adress 192.168.1.11
tftp is started
then i get tftp error 32

but i have a question  i am using the vlan 192.168.1.0 and the dhcp server
from my router for the other systems. The second dhcp server is running on
my spacewalk/cobbler device. during the pxe boot my system is getting the
correct ip adress from the dhcp server running on the spacewalk/cobbler
system.

only tftp stops.

pls respond which ports have you added to the fiewall for tftp?


Have you set up dhcpd appropriately?
i updateed the template

Have you added

filename "pxelinux.0";
server-name "<yourtftp server>"
next-server <yourtftp server>

yes i added this in the template

opened your firewall?

do we need udp and tcp both?
