Something is Terribly Wrong(tm) with your networking, I think...  check 
`ifconfig -a' and `route' and `iptables -vnL' and anything else you can 
think of... `ping 10.101.0.26' ?  Have you tried restarting (the 
computer or the network via `service network restart')?  `cat 
/etc/hosts' etc...  maybe stop jabberd, isolate the computer (it looks 
like you have a lot of incoming traffic?), and then try to fix it 
locally before letting other clients connect?

What a confusing problem!
