Hmm, pointed at
http://spacewalk.redhat.com/yum/1.1/RHEL/5/x86_64/repodata/ links
shows an empty directory but firefox shows the files.  Pointed at
http://spacewalk.redhat.com/yum/1.1/RHEL/5/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml
links shows the file contents.

I'm confused.

Bottom line is 'yum upgrade' fails.
