Hi,

when trying to deploy a configuration channel which contains a symlink
all my clients are failing with the message above. The /var/log/up2date
logfile shows the following trackback:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/sbin/rhn_check", line 283, in __run_action
    (status, message, data) = CheckCli.__do_call(method, params)
  File "/usr/sbin/rhn_check", line 276, in __do_call
    retval = method(*params)
  File "/usr/share/rhn/actions/configfiles.py", line 243, in deploy
    dep_trans.rollback()
  File "/usr/share/rhn/config_common/transactions.py", line 237, in rollback
    self._chown_chmod_chcon(d, d, val)
  File "/usr/share/rhn/config_common/transactions.py", line 137, in
_chown_chmod_chcon
    if file_info['filetype'] != 'symlink':
<type 'exceptions.KeyError'>: 'filetype'

I use spacewalk version 0.8.

Can anyone confirm or this behaviour?

Regards,

Sascha Bendix
