Yes you can, you just have to change all the mentions of localhost in the tnsnames.ora file and when you do spacewalk-setup -disconnected to point to the IP address of your oracle db server.

 

Just make sure permissions are working and you should be fine.

I want to setup my spacewalk server with a separate oracle database server.
Can I avoid to install oracle-xe in my spacewalk server?
