[Spacewalk-list] repomd.xml.gz Not Being Updated After rhnpush?

Should the repomd.xml.gz for a given channel be updated immediately after rhnpush-ing a package into a channel?  I've never run into this issue before, but I thought I had seen other people have.  I'll push a package into a channel, but the clients never seem to see it.  It shows up in the channel's package listing in the Web UI, however.  My repomd.xml.gz is dated from a few weeks ago - shouldn't that be closer to the time I pushed the package into the channel (within the past day or so)?
