[Spacewalk-list] Provisioning, kickstart profiles, cobbler system records

Hello All,

A bit of background: using Spacewalk 1.2, trying to setup provisioning via 
Spacewalk, i.e. being able to kickstart systems into state where they're 
registered with Spacewalk and have all needed software installed.

I've noticed at no point Spacewalk seems to create cobbler system records for 
a kickstarted system.  Instead provisioning seems to require having separate 
kickstart profile for each machine (?) with hardcoded per-system values.

Is it planned at any point to utilize cobbler system records in order to have 
generic kickstart profiles that use per-system variables defined in those 
records?

And a second question is, even if there's no UI in Spacewalk for that now, 
could I still do provisioning that way by creating system records on command 
line before kickstarting a host?
