[Spacewalk-list] Remove MOTD

When I generate a kickstart on spacewalk 1.2 it overwrites my MOTD file with

# MOTD
echo >> /etc/motd
echo "Spacewalk kickstart on $(date +'%Y-%m-%d')" >> /etc/motd
echo >> /etc/motd


at the end of the kickstart. Is there a way to remove this or prevent it from overwriting mine.
