[Spacewalk-list] scheduling task problem

hii,
I'm getting strange problem in spacewalk. I give commands from server to remove / install packages to a remote client. It always shows pending for 7/8 hours and then gets completed. i want my tasks to be fulfilled faster. pls tell the exact behaviour of spacewalk,  because i'm using it first time. 


Moreover, i hav a channel rhelrepo5.5_i386. I pushed rpms through server dvd. Now, I want to keep my channel updated using yum because my spacewalk server is rhn registered. How can i get the upgrades for my channel. I checked one method using repository. But, how will i get yum url??? plss help me to do so. I hope my both questions are well clear.
