Hi,

If a NIC is available to connect to a spacewalk/satellite server and PXE is not an option you may also want to consider "cobbler buildiso". The ISO image can then be placed onto USB.

I did this for our Satellite installation, before we had the ability to set up PXE.  I'll find my documentation tomorrow and send you what I have.  One thing that is helpful is using Fedora's Live USB creator, so make sure you have it.

Subject: [Spacewalk-list] how-to create a usb kickstart for spacewalk

Hello Everyone,

I'm a neophyte for learning spacewalk. My problem at first is on how to create a USB kickstart supposing I will built a server via spacewalk. I appreciate if you could give me step-by-step guide on how-to from partitioning /format my USB to mounting my USB to copy files or to / from.

Thanks in advance for your help.
