[Spacewalk-list] Spacewalk & MREPO with RHEL6 Failing gensystemid

I'm building a spacewalk server on RHEL6.3. I built the server and registered the server with RHN. I installed spacewalk and was ready to start configuring distributions. Since I want to manage RHEL5 and RHEL6 distros as well as CentOS 5/6 I installed mrepo 0.8.7, then updated to 0.8.8 and tried to use the gensystemid tool to register for a channel on RHN. I am getting some errors that I never experienced on my previous build on RHEL5.8.

Is there anyone on the list who has a working system built on the same versions? If you do, would you be willing to email me off-list to talk about what you had to do to make the pieces work correctly together?

Is there an alternative to mrepo? I started reading about createrepo but I'm not sure it can do the same as mrepo with RHN.

Thanks,
Robert
