Hi Guys ! I have installed Spacewalk 1.6 on Centos 6.2. I am on LAN and has no access to internet so I downloaded all the packages from the mirrors and created a local repo . I did all the possible steps to make a base channel and then I made child channels for
EPEL 6
Spacewalk 1.6 Client Tools
Updates
which I populated from the local repo.

So long story short , when I kickstart any system with only base channel selected in the kickstart profile , everything goes well, but when I include the child channels in my KS Profile then it throws an error.
"Unable to find metada from repository (repomd.xml)"

I checked various blogs but could not resolve this issue. It seems that cobbler is unable to find the rpms which are already there.

 Best Regards
