The schedule started from spacecmd failed due to unknown reasons. I restarted it from GUI : Systems > Software > Packages > Upgrade.
spacecmd {SSM:0}> schedule_list
ID Date C F P Action
-- ---- --- --- --- ------
7 20120820T11:53:46 0 0 1 Package Install
6 20120820T11:32:33 0 1 0 Package Install
spacecmd {SSM:0}> schedule_getoutput 7
spacecmd {SSM:0}>
The upgrade schedule has been pending for over 30 minutes. How can I monitor its process? The schedule_getoutput command returns nothing.
Thanks.

It seems to be working with the other way, don't know why:
# spacecmd
spacecmd {SSM:0}> system_upgradepackage spwclient *
Upgrade these packages [y/N]:
y

(package list)
...............................
INFO: Scheduled 1 system(s)
spacecmd
