[Spacewalk-list] Problem updating client

Thank you for the suggestion Anton - unfortunately that did not change the behavior at all. And most of what is under /pub are items I put there so far since I am the one who installed the spacewalk server. :)

I'm open to other suggestions.

Thanks,
Robert

Try getting the GPG key from your spacewalk server and importing it:

cd /tmp && wget http://spacewalkserver.com/pub/RPM-GPG-KEY-redhat-release

rpm --import /tmp/RPM-GPG-KEY-redhat-release

Then try the yum command again.

Obviously, submit the name of your key in, just have a look under /pub to see what's in there.

Cheers,

Anton

Subject: [Spacewalk-list] Problem updating client

I just registered a new client to my Spacewalk 1.7 server and tried to apply updates. Here is the message that I got:

warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: Header V4 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 863a853d

Public key for rhnlib-2.5.51-1.el5.noarch.rpm is not installed

I've tried searching a bit for how to handle this error. So far nothing obvious is hitting me for this error related to Spacewalk clients.

Anyone have any idea what I need to do to clean this up? I already tried yum clean all. That made no difference. I suppose I could try excluding that one package and see what happens.

Here's the repolist info from the client:
