[Spacewalk-list] unpublished errata and channel clone

I was thinking of simplifying channel cloning with errata. Since RedHat releases errata for all new packages (as observed), I would like to clone a channel based on new unpublished errata.

For example, you create a channel rhle-x86_64-server-5 and include all packages for RHEL5.4 - this is your base channel. From then on, RedHat releases erratas which I import along with latest packages. My erratas are usually in unpublished state (but I could make them published if needed, I like it unpublished since I know what I have new/recent). I would like to clone a channel and include unpublished erratas in the cloned channel.

I need help with publishing the unpublished errata (in mass) and cloning a channel based on those erratas.
