Hello Pietro,
I've had the same problem and posted the following message:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/spacewalk-list/2012-November/msg00042.html
Unfortunately, I've got no reply, bt I've decided to update spacewalk 1.7. to spacewalk 1.8. and afterwards the problem has disappeared.
Greetings, Sabine

Betreff: [Spacewalk-list] Error with SLES 11 SP2
I need more info, after registering a SLES11SP2 on spacewalk I disabled

have several problems, I do not know which of them I have to try to
solve for first. I created several channels and repositories, all sync
correctly, I configured a system to use those channels. I see 190
updates and if I push the updates all works, if I try to update from the
server using zypper it tells me:
Nothing to do.
And if I launch a repositories update:
zypper lu
