So I use --nosig when I push the rpm's to the channel?  Am I then able to 
put in the 'software' section of my kickstart? Currently I have to put 
"yum install someRPM --nogpgcheck" in a post script.

I have the devel packages (in optional, right?) and when install it puts 
them in /usr/lib/jvm so that will work. Thanks!

 Installing : 1:java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.5-2.2.1.el6_3.3.x86_64      1/2
  Installing : 1:java-1.7.0-openjdk-devel-1.7.0.5-2.2.1.el6_3.3.x86_64

However, I should still be able to run from command line the gpg --gen-key 
command? Any other suggestions for this issue?
