[Spacewalk-list] osad client fails to start

fedora 18 client
system can access spacewalk server on ports 5222,443,80.
system can do proper rhn_check
system has been reactivated in case this was rhn systemid related
osad-auth.conf file was removed and recreated.
network firewall is not blocking anything
selinux disabled
client firewall off
client osad reinstalled

It hangs here and then eventually fails out. Doesn't appear to start the
TLS handshake process for some reason. I deployed a new
/usr/share/rhn/RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT just to see if it was this...no
change. Again, didn't even get to the TLS process, so probably not it
anyways.
