[Spacewalk-list] Import config file fails on Spacewalk 1.9

Dear list,

I'm running Spacewalk 1.9 on Centos 6, mostly serving Centos 6 Hosts with
Spacewalk Client 1.7.

What is odd: my spacewalk server itself naturally has a 1.9 client, and
fails to upload config files, no problem on the 1.7 clients:

# rhn_check -vv
D: check_action{'action': "<?xml
version='1.0'?>\n<methodCall>\n<methodName>configfiles.upload</methodName>\n<params>\n<param>\n<value><int>90385</int></value>\n</param>\n<param>\n<value><array><data>\n<value><string>/etc/jabberd/c2s.xml</string></value>\n<value><string>/etc/jabberd/sm.xml</string></value>\n</data></array></value>\n</param>\n</params>\n</methodCall>\n",
'version': 2, 'id': 90385}
updateLoginInfo() login info
D: login(forceUpdate=True) invoked
logging into up2date server
D: rpcServer: Calling XMLRPC up2date.login
D: writeCachedLogin() invoked
D: Wrote pickled loginInfo at 1377793471.28 with expiration of

'version': 2, 'id': 90385}
D: handle_action actionid = 90385, version = 2
D: do_call configfiles.upload(90385, ['/etc/jabberd/c2s.xml',
'/etc/jabberd/sm.xml']){'cache_only': None}
D: Sending back response((6,), 'Fatal error in Python code occurred', {})
D: do_call packages.checkNeedUpdate('rhnsd=1',){}

D: rpcServer: Calling XMLRPC up2date.listChannels

also strange:

# rhncfg-client list

    sys.exit(Main().main() or 0)

should I file a bug?
