Monitoring has no effect on errata notification.

Activated schedule errata-cache and daily-status?
What do you mean? These schedules are activated by default and it's strongly 
recommended NOT to disable them until you really know what you are doing.

This e-mail is produced by the daily-status.

errata-queue has be scheduled as well for errata processing (and afterwards 
for errata notifications).
