[Spacewalk-list] Active Directory and Spacewalk

I got it working by using the following two docs as references:

* http://www.misdivision.com/blog/integrating-active-directory-authentication-with-spacewalk
* http://jim-zimmerman.com/?p=356

My account names in Spacewalk are simply 'bob' and 'frank' not 'AD\bob' or 'AD\frank'. By the configurations listed above, Spacewalk is simply doing authentication against PAM on the local host. PAM, however, is doing auth against AD via winbind.

Go play with those docs and see if you can make progress, otherwise, let me know and I'll see what else I can do to help.

Thx
Gopher.

I have setup winbind on my server and am able to list all of my Active Directory Users. I have created a user in spacewalk AD\username and am unable to login as this user on the webconsole. What am I doing wrong?
