Hi all,
I install spacewalk 1.8 on a centos6.3 upgraded to 6.4 (before installing
spacewalk). then i install spacewalk on this server and a postgresql
database on another server, the 2 server are 2 VM (Vmware). I access to
internet using a proxy http ( http_proxy="http://10.19.21.22:17521/" ).
At the end of installation i don't see Installation complete but i see
Tomcat failed to start properly or the installer ran out of tries. but when
i check : spacewalk-service status i see that everything is OK.
then i create a Base channel from a DVD iso, and when i begin rhnpush i see
this error "error: can not find RHNS CA file :
/usr/share/rhn/RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT" to fix this i copy this CA file
from /root/ssl-build/
Then i create a child channel with spacewalk-client-tools 1.8 rpm's (22 rpm)
THE PROBLEM: when i create a distribution and kickstart profile, then i go
on the kickstart File tab i see this long line instead of my CA:
# --Begin Spacewalk command section--
cat > /tmp/ssl-key-1 <<'EOF'
#657274696669636174653a0a202020204461746............
And when i modify something such as language or anything other with the UI,
on my kickstart file i see that the partition information become also
strange like this:
skipx
8617274202f626f6f74202d2d6673747970653d65787433202d2d73
%packages
Finally when i go on systems==> kickstart==>GPG and SSL
keys==>RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT isee the long line
#657274696669636174653a0a202.....
instead of the CA. I try to fix this, i do a cat on my server on the the
RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT file and i see that it is OK so i download it,
then with the UI upload it to the spacewalk server to replace this wrong
file but no result i get "#657274696669636174653a0a202"
RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT key
any help please.
